You will have the opportunity to work, play, and dress as the pioneers did. You will spend much of your time pulling a handcart with your trek family in one of the most beautiful landscapes New Mexico has to offer. You will eat outside, sing songs around the campfire, sleep outside (inside your tent, that is), play pioneer games, and dance under the stars!
More importantly, you will have the opportunity to learn about these amazing people who sacrificed all to follow our Heavenly Father. You will feel the spirit and have your testimony strengthened as you work side-by-side with other amazing youth and leaders from our Stake. And most importantly, you will leave trek with an increased knowledge that your Heavenly Father knows and loves you and can accomplish great things through you if you will just let Him.
